Compass is an educational flight simulator designed to help founders practice high-stakes decision-making under uncertainty. All scenarios, 5-axis cognitive telemetry scores (Capital Allocation, Team Morale, Public Trust, Runway Preservation, Strategic Tradeoffs), Socratic mirrors, and Decision DNA metrics are educational reflection tools. They do not constitute formal legal, investment, accounting, or fiduciary advisory services. The founder retains sole executive and legal responsibility for their real-world actions.
Compass connects to commercial enterprise AI APIs (including Mistral AI Codestral, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and NVIDIA NIM) under strict contractual Zero Data Retention (ZDR) guarantees. Your proprietary startup crisis inputs, financials, and responses are processed transiently in-memory and are never used to train, retrain, or improve foundational AI models.
All software source code, interactive scenario simulations, Socratic prompt architectures, Decision Maturity Index (DMI) algorithms, 5-axis telemetry formulas, radar models, and user interface designs are the exclusive, protected intellectual property of Compass and MD Khalid.
Whether you are a casual visitor exploring a sample scenario, an individual founder on a 30-day challenge or annual pass, or an institutional cohort participant, you are granted exclusively a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to practice decision-making. Users and visitors are strictly prohibited from copying, scraping, reverse-engineering, decompiling, white-labeling, or creating derivative competitive simulation products based on Compass's proprietary frameworks, scoring rubrics, or curricula. Any unauthorized replication constitutes a direct violation of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
When an individual access pass (such as the 30-Day Crucible) reaches expiration, Compass respects the founder's hard-won progress. We do not engage in hostage-taking or sudden punitive data destruction. Instead, your historical Decision DNA, completed audit logs, and verified certificates are preserved in a secure, read-only vault so you can reference your historical benchmarks upon return.
Active scenario execution and new AI sparring are paused until renewal. You retain absolute statutory sovereignty under the India DPDP Act 2023: you may trigger a full permanent data wipe at any time via the “Reset Context” control or by emailing md.khalid@usecompass.in. Inactive accounts with zero activity for 24 continuous months are permanently purged in accordance with data minimization standards.

All transactions are upfront and non-recurring. We do not lock users into hidden recurring auto-debit subscription traps.
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, the total cumulative liability of Compass and its operator shall be strictly capped at the actual amount paid by the user for their access tier (maximum ₹2,999 for Founder Challenge or ₹9,999 for Pioneer Pass). Any legal claims shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction restricted to the Courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
