1. India DPDP Act 2023 & Entity Operating Disclosure

Compass (https://usecompass.in) is operated by MD Khalid as a registered sole proprietorship enterprise under MSME (Udyam Registration No: UDYAM-TS-09-0266023) based in Hyderabad, India. We are committed to full compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 of India.

2. Enterprise Zero Data Retention (ZDR) & AI Training Prohibition

Compass uses commercial enterprise AI APIs (including Mistral AI Codestral, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and NVIDIA NIM) to generate contextual startup crisis simulations and Socratic evaluation mirrors.

• Zero Foundation Model Training: Under our enterprise API contracts, user crisis submissions and decision texts are NEVER used to train, retrain, or improve foundational AI models.
• In-Memory Stateless Processing: Input prompts and responses are processed transiently in server memory over encrypted TLS 1.3 pipelines and are discarded immediately after generating the response.
• No Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, or monetize your proprietary startup decision logs to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum necessary information to provide the simulation service:

• Account credentials (name, email address via Google OAuth session).
• Startup profile context (stage, industry, runway, team size) used to calibrate simulation scenarios.
• Optional physical business card scans captured through the browser camera for CRM contact exchange.

4. Data Archival, Right to Erasure & “Reset Context”

Ethical Read-Only Archival: When an individual access pass expires, Compass does not engage in hostile data destruction. We preserve your completed Decision DNA, audit rep history, and verified certificates in a secure, read-only vault so you can reference your historical benchmarks upon return.

Statutory Right to Erasure: Under the India DPDP Act 2023, you retain absolute sovereignty over your records. You can trigger an immediate session wipe via the “Reset Context” button, or email md.khalid@usecompass.in for unconditional permanent account purge. Inactive accounts with zero activity for 24 continuous months are permanently purged in accordance with data minimization standards.

5. Transparent One-Time Transactions

Compass operates on transparent, upfront single-transaction access tiers (₹2,999 30-Day Crucible / ₹7,999 1-Year Strategic / ₹9,999 3-Year Pioneer Pass). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers and do not engage in recurring auto-debit billing without explicit manual confirmation.
