1. Beta & Entity Operating Disclosure

Compass is currently operated as an early-stage beta platform under Khalid (Sole Proprietorship, Hyderabad, India) during pre-incorporation validation. By using Compass, you acknowledge that the service is provided as a decision maturity practice tool for founders.

2. AI Data Processing & Enterprise Opt-Out Guarantee

Compass utilizes advanced artificial intelligence models (via enterprise commercial APIs including Google Gemini, Codestral, and OpenAI) to generate contextual startup crisis scenarios, evaluate founder decisions, and compute cognitive metrics.

• Zero Commercial API Retention: Commercial API calls operate under enterprise zero-data-retention terms. Input prompts are processed statelessly in RAM and are not retained by third-party model providers.
• 100% Fine-Tuning Opt-Out Right: Enterprise clients and users retain full rights to opt out of internal model fine-tuning (`opt_out_ai_training = True`). We do not use your proprietary startup decisions to train public models without consent.
• No Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, or trade your proprietary startup decision logs to data brokers or third parties.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information voluntarily provided by you, including your name, email address, startup profile attributes (stage, industry, runway, team size), decision responses, and OPTIONAL physical business card scans captured via browser WebRTC camera scanner.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your simulation logs, psychological mirror evaluations, and decision benchmarks are stored in encrypted databases. Business card OCR processing occurs in transient memory, and raw physical card camera frames are not permanently published to open public buckets.

5. No Subscription Traps or Auto-Renews

Compass operates on transparent, upfront single-transaction cohorts (₹2,999 Founder Challenge / ₹9,999 Pioneer Tier). We do not lock users into hidden recurring auto-debit plans.

6. Data Deletion Requests

Founders retain full ownership of their decision history. To request complete deletion of your user profile, simulation logs, or benchmark data, contact us at md.khalid@usecompass.in.
